Cook County's Lego League
On Monday October 7th 9 boys from the Cook County Middle School met with 5 adults to start the first annual Lego League. The goal of First Lego League International is to inspire children around the world to work together, use their creativity, and engage in real world problems and opportunities. Most of all this is a great way to have fun and learn a lot.
One of the first steps is to set up the course over which the robots will operate.

This is the mat that makes up the course boundaries. All projects done by the robot will take place on this playing field.

A big part of the job is finding the right pieces for the project.
Week 2

The second week began with us familiarizing ourselves with the RCX (brain of the robot). The team worked on preparing the course, building the robot, or programming the RCX.

We took some time to put together a team picture.
Team Members include (not in order):
Max Simonowicz, Clay Gruber-Schulz, Devann Pauling, Sebastian Schnobrich, Dene Taylor, Max Asche, Nolan Dwyer, Enzo Sa, and Cody Carlson
