| Kate and Steve live and work in Grand
Marais, MN, with their son Will. They have spent many
years exploring the northwoods, including spending time as canoe
outfitters and dogsledding guides. After four years in the
Twin Cities, with a baby in tow, they headed back to their
favorite place.
The Surbaughs love spending time outdoors and taking care of
the land at their place near the Cascade River. In the
summer, they're hiking and canoeing. In the winter,
they'll be out cross country skiing. Follow the Family
